Percival, Gareth Beumanis, and Burnor La Cote Mal Tale all came to court around the same time and are around the same age. They’re friends and hang out together a lot. They bond over being made fun of by Kay and mostly hang out in the kitchens because they don’t really feel at home in all luxury of the castle and court.

Arthurian Legend.

       Standing at the top of the hill, at the end of a well worn path, Percivale takes a moment to look out at King Arthur’s knights before stepping into New World. Behind him the well worn and familiar path winds, and he turns his back leaving his old life behind. He carries with him a walking stick to aid him in his travels, and the caps one he was caught hunting is under his arm – an act that brought him in front of several of King Arthur’s knights

       As he prepares to follow the Knights to Arthur’s Court Percivale sees them as winged angels, their armour shining in the sunlight; and in the sky, the sunlight creates a vague image of the holy Grail, and a rainbow overarches the landscape.
