My cats if I shift slightly in my sleep in the middle of the night:

**urgently rubbing their little faces on my hands and putting their paws on my eyelids repeatedly**

“Human! Human you have to pet us right now. Wake up! We need all of the pets immediately!”

My cats when I get out of bed, because it’s not like I can sleep anyways:

Absolutely conked out. So sleepy. 20-30 pounds of honk shoo mimimi upon ye. I didn’t even feed them in between these two events.

Percy was sitting in my lap slow blinking at me this morning I- I had to draw him.

He gives a new meaning to pet portraits because he insisted on being petted the entire time.
