It's been so long since I drew my favourite ship. I've missed it so much.
A heart to heart. Secrets are voiced and Scope finds a home.
Celebration chapter!
Lots of nice things happen and a few plot lines open up.
It’s finally happening for Scope, he’s getting his upgrades and maybe getting a little drunk on his meds afterwards. Things are finally all going right for him.
Sorry for the delay, certain comic events soured things for a while. It’s back now though and here’s a happy chapter!
Also I’m super happy to finally introduce someone I’ve been eager to add for a while.
Also I have a need for Percy taking young Scope to the Planetarium as a treat. It’s after hours and no one else is there (Percy needs to use the star ceiling for ‘research’ and he’s trusted enough to be allowed to use it on his own.)
Scope doesn’t know where they’re going, Percy has only said he’ll enjoy it and given no more details. Scope tries to guess their destination while they’re on the transport but Percy just shakes his head and smiles, Scope doesn’t even know what a planetarium is, he’ll never guess it in a million years. Scope’s well behaved when there are other mechs on the transport, but he’s practically vibrating with excitement.
Scope has to admit he’s a little upset when Percy says they’re here and they’re standing in front of a really boring looking building. Percy laughs and tells him not to judge something because it looks plain.
Inside, Percy sits Scope in one of the reclining seats and tells him to stay there while he goes to turn on the program.
Scope’s full of nervous excitement when the ceiling comes to life and the galaxy is almost within touching distance. He’s just beside himself and can’t sit still, he’s so happy to be there and he loves that Percy set it up for him, he’s full of love for the mech who constantly surprises him. After the program ends and the narrator stops talking, Scope points to the ceiling and asks Percy to name the stars, constellations and the planets, he wants to know everything.
Percy enjoys seeing Scope so happy, everything outside is forgotten for a night and Scope forgets he’s not a ‘real’ mech. They’re just equals and Scope gets to be his young, excitable self without fear.
By the end of the night, Scope’s curled up in Percy’s lap, listening to him talk about how stars are formed. He couldn’t be happier.
I’ve just spent all day thinking about a vampire with disposables being used as meals on wheels AU
Disposables are cheap, easy to replace, loyal to their owners and can keep a secret. So they’re the perfect additions to a vampires busy life.
Perceptor is a very busy vampire. He tries his best to ignore his deep desires to focus on science, that’s all that matters to him. He always forgets to feed though, it’s just too much trouble and too time consuming. A friend gifts him a willing little disposable to keep him fed, better that than starving to death.
Percy isn’t sure what to do with the little mech who now keeps following him around like a lost puppy. Scope’s more than willing to be a walking meal, it beats his former life where his owner thought he was just a tool. Percy takes good care of him and if he has to give up energon to keep the life he has then that’s a good trade in his eyes.
Percy refuses to feed from him though, as willing as Scope acts he’s still a slave and Percy is all about free will.
So they’re stuck together in a dysfunctional relationship. Percy tries finding Scope a new home, but Scope refuses to leave.
The more Scope’s around though, the more Percy likes him. Scope’s smart and learns fast, more than that, he loves science and Percy enjoys teaching him.
So they bond over science and somewhere along the way they come to value each other and trust they both mean what they say.
One night after a really long night, Percy’s got some nasty hunger pain going on, it’s been a long time since he fed off anyone and he’s starving. Scope climbs into his lap and offers himself, Percy accepts, trusting Scope isn’t offering because he feels like he has to.
And damn if it doesn’t feel amazing for the both of them.
