For @cutedragonsfr‘s Flameforger’s showcase: Perets!

He’s a minor spirit who somehow ended up as a deity of good luck to pray to for the locals, which stresses him Greatly, because there’s only so much he can do (and even that is...clumsy) but he can’t let them down!

He’s also about the size of the good luck pendants dragons tend to wear in his image, so he spends most of his time hanging out in another dragon’s (Urodela, the dudebro veilspun) backpack

Got this gorgeous fireball baby from @tarou-rising yesterday and I can’t make up my mind about how to gene him (though I think I’m staring to lean towards the first scry). I think I’m gonna name him Perets (as in pretzel in Hungarian, but coincidentally pepper in Russian)

He’s a minor spirit of volcanic rock formations who somehow ended up a local cryptid-turned-something-to-pray-to in the nomadic lavafield towns of Torchbound Kingdom. He doesn’t know how it happened, but now folks tend to pray to him for good luck in traversing the ever-shifting lavafields, which concerns him Greatly. He has no hand in this, he did not intend for any of this, this isn’t even remotely his area of expertise!

So he has no choice but to use whatever minor spirit powers he has to help folks turning to his image for help even though he has No Clue what he’s doing. He can’t just leave them hanging!

The locals typically keep pendants or small statues carved from volcanic rock or orange gemstones in his image that they claim bring good luck. It’s supposed to be good luck in travels across the lavafields, but sometimes it ends up being, uhh...strangely specific.

Despite being an overestimated local spirit, he resides in one of the pockets on Urodela’s bag, seeing as he’s tiny and has nowhere better to be. He stays on shore when Dale goes fishing in the lava pools though, and hidden when he’s talking to strangers, just in case. He’s also in the constant progress of picking up more and more of his bro-talk without noticing.

(Dale keeps joking about asking Perets to up his luck in getting dates. Perets is begging him to stop)

Yall still haven’t seen my full design for Tirinka despite the fact that I’ve had it down for a Long Time, but believe me, this piece could hardly be more perfect for her

I might need to add a lil more cream to Perets’ outfit to make it match Perfectly, but that black is gorgeous, and the feathers on the face...I’m in love

Urodela’s bio has a four item inventory section and when i get around to setting up bios again i’m going to take out one of the items and replace it with Perets
