Summary

THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY How did four of Japan's hottest guys end up living in the same magnificent mansion? The shocking revelations continue! And whatever happened to the idea of giving Sunako a major makeover? If the foursome wants to remain in their luxurious surroundings, they need to follow through on the original agreement. Sunako's aunt will no doubt threaten to kick them out (again!) if they fail to transform Sunako from a dark loner into a beautiful young lady. This volume also features "Yuki Versus the Abominable Snow Woman," an ill-fated visit to a haunted school, and the terror of the track meet! This volume of The Wallflower includes special extras after the story!

Review

This volume continues with the boy’s backstory where Kyohei comes to live with the boys, are they ready to handle Kyohei’s problems? It is nice to see the boys band together to help Kyohei. I love the little moments in this chapter, the boys just hanging our and talking is a nice mood.

We also meet one of Sunako’s friends from Hokkaido, Yuki - the snow woman (literally). She is having boyfriend troubles and needs Sunako’s help, the boys tag along. Noi wants to audition for a movie and gets Sunako to go with her. Takenaga gets worried/jealous and wants the guys to follow along to make sure ‘they’ are okay. The location ends up being an abandoned school that is said to be haunted... this makes Sunako go into full-blown fantasy mode! The director thinks she is a genius... but really she is just mental for ghosts!

Back to reality, the school is having a swim meet and Sunako doesn’t want to go. The event turns into a spectacle due to the boys participating and everyone being excited to see them in their swim suits.
