Does anyone else go on music kicks? Because I do and recently, it has been a Shawn Mendes kick. And I stumbled on this beauty again. This song is just beautiful and when he performed it live on James Cordon, it was breathtaking. You feel the anguish and sadness in his voice. The song compliments his vulnerability and the feelings he is expressing in this song. I feel kinda bad for liking this song because it was from a painful moment in his life, but I appreciate when artists turn pain into art and honestly that is what happened here.
This song is one of the reasons why I love his self-titled so much.
