Hi Zaza! I have to find a job this summer but I have no idea where to begin. I have a resume but I don't know how to actually find places that are hiring or where to send my resume :( I've only found one place and they just want me to email a resume but I don't know what to put in the email that would help me get the job. sure kayla, happy to help! so, i’m assuming tht you’ve never worked before, and therefore are searching for an entry level position. as for where to find places, it depends on what you want to do. if you’re thinking retail, check out the mall. if you’re thinking server/hostess check out local restaurants. office work, check out online sites (i.e. Craigslist, Snagajob, Career Builder etc.)
there’s lots of places tht you don’t have to go in, you just fill out an application online (i.e. Target). at this stage i wouldn’t worry too much about your resume, but instead getting solid references (plus their contact info) and on filling out as many applications as you can-to all the places you’d be willing to work. i wish you great luck in your search turtledove!
