Swift's stripped-down performance and intimate subscriber Q&A will go down on Friday (Aug. 23) on the same day that "Lover" drops.
Taylor Swift will celebrate the release of her eagerly anticipated seventh album, Lover, on Aug. 23 with an exclusive performance on SiriusXM as part of a Town Hall special. The set will include stripped-down performances of songs from the upcoming album as well as an intimate Q&A session with a select group of subscribers, according to a release announcing the special. The Town Hall will air at 5 p.m. ET on SiriusXM Hits 1 (ch. 2), as well as the SiriusXM app and web player, with several rebroadcasts throughout the weekend on Hits 1.
Swift will also do a sitdown one-on-one interview with SiriusXM Hits 1's The Morning Mash-Up team to discuss the new album and host a takeover of Hits 1 for the weekend (Aug. 24-25), counting down the top 45 songs in North America and checking in with the week's new tracks.
