Installed a crankcase breather filter on the end of my stock breather tube. What I did was disconnected it from my air intake tube caped the intake end and installed a spectre breather filter. The oil vapor latent air from the crankcase is recycled back into the engines air intake slowing the motor down by reintroducing warm air into the engine and allowing build up to take place on your throttle body and air intake system. The breather filter allows that air to be purged from the engine which in turn only allows fresh cooler air to enter the engine. I couldn’t find any info on doing this with a ford fusion but so far after a couple weeks no codes, better idle, gas mileage and throttle response on top of making the engine look nicer Im pretty happy with the results considering I winged it after doing only a couple hours of research. ontop of that I did a shitty paint job to my intake tube ill have to redue it when i have more time.
