2.have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?
Virginia Woolf is my God. I still remember reading To the Lighthouse for the first time in high school and getting goosebumps. It was a revelatory experience for me and i didn’t know that writers could write like that. There is such a vulnerable beauty to her writing, and she helps me understand my own thoughts better. She is responsible for my love affair with English Literature.
4.do you like your name? is there another name you think would fit you better?
I don’t really think about my name a lot. My name-Aishwarya-literally means prosperity and wealth in Sanskrit. My parents named me that because they felt my birth made their home figuratively prosperous. I am not sure if my name is appropriate since i don’t feel like it symbolically represents me. I can be very materialistic at times though, so i guess it works.
No, I wouldn’t want to change my name though. It is my name and i am sort of attached to it and also i like the way it sounds.
No, I am not an artist (but i am flattered that anyone might think so). I wish i was because there aren’t a lot of things more satisfying than artistic creation. I used to write poetry(admittedly juvenile poetry) in college but i stopped doing that after i had a depressive phase(on-going) that stifled my creativity. At this juncture in my life i am more inclined to consume art than create it.
