I’m very proud of Eau de Jane’s review in the 2018 edition of #perfumestheguide. My dream was always to create a perfume & I did it. There were some bumps in road, but I made it here. Things seemed dark & if you told me Luca Turn & Tania Sanchez would one day have a sample of my perfume & consider it for review in their book? Well, I would have said you were insane. I chatted with Luca quite a bit about my perfume & how hard it is to art direct a green perfume, especially when you’re trying to make a vintage style “modern” while telling a timeless story. Goodness knows I can tell this story. Lucas first lead-in for EdJ was going to be “how has perfume changed in my life” because it truly has. Imagine my shock when I read the final review that compared Eau de Jane to Carven Ma Griffe! I nearly fainted. “Pleasantly retro” is exactly what Eau de Jane smells like in context with the perfumes of the past that inspired me.
