I just watched the most surprisingly amazing movie about sheep detectives solving the murder of their shepherd, played by Hugh Jackman of all people.
And I... I couldn't fucking solve it. I could not figure out who the murderer was. I was genuinely stumped... by a movie about talking sheep.
The movie popped up on my recommended movies on prime. I saw it had 95% on rotten tomatoes and was like... how??? It's talking animals, and not like old Disney talking animals, but CGI ones. And the trailer fit the usual childish meh of bad sheep puns etc.
But... 95% on rotten tomatoes, right? I couldn't ignore it. I had to know how the fuck a movie with such a silly concept could possibly be that good.
Guys. I can't believe I'm saying this. But this is not just a good movie, it has a genuinely good mystery.
