A smile and a soft, soundless chuckle. He shakes his head, his fingers zigzagging as he drags them down his face.
"You didn't have to. I can just tell! The people will sing of your bravery! Go on, then. You go in first," he says, pointing to the door down these dark, dank steps. He's teasing, but now he'll stick to the bit. "Open the door."
"Who could ever be afraid of a dead pirate? Certainly not the big, strong wolf."
