… In 1x07 (another fave ep ^^)… The logs from the bugged phone call list Neal’s surname as ‘Cafferty.’
Everyone calls him ‘Caffery.’ Including promotional materials.
Maybe Fowler was just trying to cover up his team’s inability to spell…
#White Collar#another under appreciated moment is Neal's little freak out when he actually reads the page#think it's a combination of him realising Peter didn't tell Fowler anything#and maybe realising he's Officially gotten at least Peter and technically El involved in the mess#like I've said I think Neal latched onto Peter a long time ago#as the closest thing he'd had to a father in a long time#which says a lot poor boy#but Peter or at least his presence mean a lot to him and he's become attached to El too#so this might honestly feel a little like a threat#perhaps unintentionally#but it's like him realising the same thing Peter did that they went into the Burke's house#feels like one of his truly safe spots w/ two of his truly safe people has been invaded#and just I dunno#feeling like now he's putting a target on Peter too#Adopt a Felon 101
