Congrats!! :D my golduck is named Percy :D
AW that’s so cute! I’m honestly so protective over these creatures that live in my phone and I love naming them fun, overly pretentious things

i can't believed they showed that crime scene photo of a dead girl and yet we've still got the 'cinnamon roll' camp of fans going 'attempted murder charge?? #imagine sum1 flirting w u and cassidy kills them teehee i bet thats what happened!! :))' smh.
right like did they ignore the part where Cassidy says he “lost his head a bit” like that’s really fucking scary? we haven’t seen that side of him on the show really. his presence has actually been mostly benign. fuck I’m scared for next season lol I was sitting in my bed sweating just thinking about it last night this shit gives me anxiety but it’s an important part of his arc so I’m very glad it’s not being glossed over.

fgFFCKUCK MY ENTIRE LIFE HOOOOO BOY 10/10
this made my night dude I’m so happy you liked it. hope I can end it on a strong note! I was really proud of the stopping point I came to in the excerpt I posted - it marks where I’m about to shift back to Tulip’s perspective.
perhapsaprince replied to your post “just a few thoughts about this episode (will write something more...”
I don't think DeBlanc survived, especially because Fiore started whimpering a bit after :( I'm more and more certain Fiore will explain things at Masada and die, just like the comic.
and im more and more certain that ignorance is bliss dont do this to me (but also I still think we might get some deviation from the original here? I don’t think it’s entirely impossible is all I’m saying so I’m willing to hope for it and if I’m let down so be it). fiore also seems a bit more sensitive about dying and regenerating in general than deblanc - remember “my tenders!” and also “don’t hurt me!” when cassidy’s about to smack him around more with the candle snuffer-outer thing lol
also a part of me thinks that since fiore and deblanc are so much more developed and interesting than either their comic counterparts or the demon and angel couple in the comics, they will survive

SAME !!! ITS ONE OF MY FAVS AND ITS ONLY GONNA BE 10000X BETTER IN THE SHOW IF/WHEN THEY GET TO IT (AND THEY BETTER GET TO IT) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

I LOVE THAT DOROTHY SONG OMG good taste <3
thanks! :) it fits them really well, doesn’t it, esp. tulip? “why did God put a gun in my hand?” it’s a big question hanging over the heads of these three characters and they’ve either learned to live with that interrogative or they’ve actively tried to answer it - tulip weaponizes her anger and reins it in as she sees fit, jesse is ashamed of his but definitely gets pleasure out of indulging it, cassidy ignores his issues, drowing them out with drugs and sex, until they’re a blatant problem

AND PACIFIC RIM OMG :D
yeah!!! I hope he’ll come back for more episodes. I loved Sundowner from a cinematography perspective a lot

yessss. I hope next season when we go to different locales, we get cool-tone tints instead of yellow for days though. My eyes are tired. (Though I guess they're using blue for the robbery flashback now, like it's the Maria Bamford show lol)
I feel you on this! I love what one person had to say about the yellows of the show, though - “A lot of these critics have compared the television show to a Coen Brothers movie, and I understand that. There are a lot of terrific faces in this series, faces that aren’t symmetrical or conventionally beautiful. The cinematography gives the exterior shots a golden glow that can be warm or bleak, and the interior shots can be exalted or claustrophobic or in-between.” A beautiful description.
can’t wait for more flashbacks. I’m hoping we get the big flashback that breaks the secret about whatever Horrible Thing carlos did this upcoming episode
