The Professor had only been at this castle for a day, and and he had taken the time to look around, without being noticed too much. The paintings and the interior were exquisite, to say the least. And the interior looked quite mid 16th century. Deciding to head back to his ship to sleep, he climbed up a flight of stairs when he heard someone else with him. Maybe they could tell him where he was? “Hello…?” he called out. “It’s just me.”

First, no, I will break that to tell you you’re amazing and I’m so grateful to get to write with you!  I’ll stop now!

@brockethxll - LISTEN, JESS, you are incredible, okay?  Your writing is beyond amazing, your plot ideas always wonderful, and your characters so well rounded out that… gah, I don’t know what to say there.  But beyond that, you are an amazing person and friend.  You’ve been there for me at my worst and helped me figure things out.  You’re sweet and funny and an amazing hugger.  Not a day goes by where I don’t hope we’ll be closer soon because you’re one of my best friends and seeing you just once a year is too long.  I know you’ll make your goals because you’re driven and passionate!  Everything will be okay!

@frkundrwood - OKAY, SHELL.  You are one of the strongest women I know… you go through shit and then you pop back up again and go at them.  You keep on doing that, because you can.  You’re also a great writer and our au ideas, your au ideas in general are out of this world.  I never know what you’re going to come up with next and it’s always amazing.  You’re also an amazing friend and lovely and downright hilarious.  I always enjoy hearing your opinions and your enthusiasm is infectious!  Keep going, girl!  It’ll work out!

Apart from his thirst, Emmett had adapted to vampire life surprisingly well. He accepted the truth at once, and cheerfully slotted into the Denali coven - although he’d only been a part of their lives for several weeks, it felt as though he’d been living with them for years.  The only difficulty was his lack of control - he’d already slipped up twice, and this time the coven felt the need to move home, before any suspicion arose. 

“I’m sorry,” he mumbled to Mary. “I didn’t want you guys to have to move because of me.”

Wedding Bells || Mary & Ivar

Ivar’s mood was foul. He didn’t wish to marry and just following orders went against the grain. Seating himself on a low bench, he morosely watched as the ships arrived and the passengers disembarked. Then he spotted her. Her bright hair flashed in the sun and he had to begrudgingly admit she was beautiful. This did not improve his mood. Guards encircled her, looking grim as they took in the sight of Kattegat. Instantly he felt defensive of his home and unjustifiably irritated with her even further. This was a union of resources and he was envious of his brothers who married for genuine affection and inclination.

@perhiistoria Plotted for a Elizabeth Anne Tudor Starter!

They had left recently for their yearly time away from court. A space where the family could be just that, a family. It was one of her favorite times of the year, especially since it smoothed the worry and frustration lines drawn on mama’s face. 

Elizabeth found herself holed up in the library with maps, plotting and updating the line work when she heard the familiar steps of her father coming up behind her. Beaming at him she moved so he could inspect her work.

“It is beautiful isn’t it? Mama gave it to me in the recent hoard of treasures she was given.”

Running through the palace corridors after her best friend Mary, Danie was too busy to look where she was going. It was too late for her to pay attention when all of a sudden a lady came out of a door right in her path. Skidding to a halt, she went crashing into the unfortunate lady. “I’m so sorry my lady, I didn’t mean to, I’m so sorry.” The poor young girl instantly burst into tears out of a mixture of fear of being shouted at and embarrassment.

           ❛  What do you mean, ridiculous? This hat was owned by MARCO POLO, Your Majesty.  ❜  He is lucky to be favoured by the Queen consort to the degree he is.    The palace is LOUD and quite frankly, she is seeking QUIET. Her boxes are dispatched, her duties ( for the most part ) are seen to and with a large state dinner coming up, most of the residence is in full flourishes to prepare. She longs for Windsor, but her duties keep her bound to Buckingham and therefor, to the cacophony of sounds and voices -- she adores parties, yes, but not the terrible fuss they cause beforehand. 

    So she has found a small nook in Albert’s study ( she assumes they might find her for some excuse or other in her own ) near a window, with a pleasant view of the gardens. It’s nearly winter so the dustings of snow have killed the flowering bushes, and yet she finds it enchanting. She is used to GREY, and DULL overhead clouds bringing rain and now, oh now the seasons have blessed them with a brilliant WHITE that she longs to play in. She is not a child anymore by any means, but the lure is still there. For now, however, she is content here in the warmth, with Albert’s books to accompany her.
