Sacrificial Bull: For an inner monologue my muse has about yours.

Another holdover, preferring the old regime. Not quite dangerous yet, I don’t think, but one to keep an eye on. There’s ambition in her, but bound up in a laze and selfishness, I think. If anything, I think it’s her pettiness that gets in her own way. She may be the picture perfect image of the Cool Girl but an image, after all, is all for someone else’s benefit. Her performance is a performance, after all, which means she’s aware of an audience and playing to them. Definitely on the To Watch list.

(For an inner monologue my muse has about yours.)

She’s… I really have no idea. We’re total opposites in practically every way possible, but she wants me to be Queen, she sees me in a good way. She’s nice to me, even if sometimes I wonder if she’s poking fun at me. But in a good way. In the way your friends would, I think.

She will never be what Jasper is to me. What Lark was (maybe will again be?). I’ve heard many rumors and whispers about what she was like, but people can change. I don’t like the idea that she dislikes my mom as much as she does, but we can’t have everything, can we?

Maybe she’ll be an adviser when I am Queen. I think she’s deserving of that.

Also maybe we can go out and about again sometime. It’s a nice relief to have that. She really is lovely to have around, and she is absolutely gorgeous as well.

She’s super harsh and doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but soooo many of us are like that that it’s not even that bad really.” Gale leaned back further into the booth, the music seeming to swell to keep their conversation even harder to hear. If he weren’t utterly smashed at this point then he would’ve found a way to swindle the bartender out of another drink. Luckily for him Aster was more than drunk enough for the two of them to discuss every member of the court. “She’s been around longer than any of us, someone’s bound to have pissed her off bad enough. But she’s just as Unseelie as us all anyways. She’s good at her job at least....she’s like an anti-Frost. Not as frosty. I love frosties. Speaking of, have you ever tried one? Fries in the chocolate one....sorry what were we talking about?”
