Mini Peridot Ramblings

I really don't get the complaints about the change in Peridot's character. Yeah, her personality prior to Catch and Release was great, but you have to realize that at the moment she is absolutely terrified of everything. Imagine living most of your life in power armour, then one day you're attacked and suddenly that protective layer is gone. You're going to be scared, you're going to feel vulnerable, and you're definitely not going to retain any kind of sense of superiority you had prior. I think we will get 'old' Peridot back, hopefully as the newest Crystal Gem, but she will just have to get used to living without having that artificial layer of security first. For now we should enjoy the adorable Gem-Cat Perisocks.
