Time for a new sweater.

"We accept the love we think we deserve"

Well I think I deserve a lot more. How can one person give out so much and get so little back in return.

I used to wear my heart on my sleeve, and now it seems like I’m wearing the broken pieces as a sweater.

But the sweater isn’t keeping me warm. The sweater isn’t hugging me. The sweater isn’t laughing at our inside jokes. The sweater isn’t kissing my forehead.

Can I donate it? Give it to Goodwill and let someone else wear it around? Trade it in for a new one?

The temperatures are dropping and I’m getting cold. I want a new sweater. This tattered, holey, and sad one will not suffice.
