I sort of agree with you on the culture thing tbh. i got really into kpop when i was in high school, but i didn't want that sole aspect of korean culture to take up my view on it and didn't want to jump into any "omg i wanna live in korea NOW" type of mindset. so, i did more research, i'm now majoring in korean literature and culture and NOW i feel like i can say "fuck yeah i wanna go there" haha!
