You don't need nails just the backside of a hammer and a cat scratch post

did u know they make cat scratch posts out of cardboard now

you can literally buy a stick and a bunch of cardboard rings to put on the stick and when your cat scratches it up you can buy more cardboard rings isn't that amazing
