hes a permatregressed ageshifter! technically a flip as well!
he hides the fact he's a permaregresser for soooo loooong, he hates the fact he struggles like hell to take care of himself and sometimes acts younger so one of the caregivers can help him out bc at his oldest hes at best 15 at BEST but usually settles around the 8-13 range,
he doesnt change a massive amount from younger to older, but when younger he prefers to watch more cartoons and when older he prefers youtube series!
he looks after Coupe a lot even if he's slid a bit younger bc she's p much always younger when little!
hes a big brother carer!! he dosent really like being called parental nicknames but will keep his mouth shut about it most of the time- why would he correct a little if thats how they see him???
he has nooo idea what hes doing with a pet regressor- but he'll try! he's mostly a sitter anyways-
his house is mostly built for his height, a smaller but wider fridge for the same space(french doors, i know what you were imagining) with a window to see whats in it, steps to the sink built in, the furniture is mostly the same because who doesnt want a normal sized couch you can easily curl up in? and his bed is low to the ground,
he doesnt have a guest room- he has a gaming room! it has a full gaming set up, three monitors and all! but on the other side of the room he has all sorts of toys he likes, action figures, dinosaur toys and figures he uses as toys- same for dragons and other mythical creatures too! and his favorite toy, a big soft trex toy!! its like half his height and sure its plastic but it has enough give that its not horrid to hug it lol
his favorite plush is a black Clydesdale horse plush that he INSISTS is a kelpie! you cant convince him otherwise!! its the only thing he doesnt hide because he feels so strongly about it!!! his (adoptive)mama gave it to him and its a kelpie!!! its like literally to his underarm if hes holding it, its legs reach the floor
his second favorite plush is a red and black horse with red, orange, and yellow mane! a Nightmare! Malovola gave it to him one year for christmas! its huge lmao, takes up half the bed and its enchanged to always be the perfect temp!! cold if you want cold, warm if you want warm!! he rarely sleeps on his bed properly anymore, he has his kelpie and is flopped over the thing gettin the best sleep!!
he uses chewlery aaalll the time! sometimes a paci but he prefers chewing, but if his jaw is sore from all the chewing its paci time!!!
despite being 'too old' for rattles, he loves anything that makes noise! bell toys? hella, a rattle? sure why not, a squeaker toy? oh now youve done it! you cant escape it!!
he doesnt like deco pacis, or ones with patterns, his normal forest green or his black one does just fine!!
he loovess to playfight and wrestle!! he'll go easy on a little or a friend or cg/pm, but this man can lift Royd off the ground- doooont get on his bad side hahaha
he has a lot of issues bathing himself- so he usually only does it after work when he feels disgusting from being sweaty all day, but dont let him take too many days off in a row or he comes in reeking of b/o, buuut he hates admiting it so he just says he forgot to put on deodorant, its not just that buddy-
he almost always has music on, he has a bluetooth headset he uses when hes at work, comms in one ear, earbud in the other! he makes sure the music isnt too loud to hear his team and dispatcher, but they can sometimes hear him humming on his side when he forgets to mute himself-
he uses stim toys all the time, he needs something to doooooo
i hc him with adhd and autism, he has a lot of vocal stims too! but he usually doesnt do them around others unless he's clearly younger
he cant control his ageshifting at ALL, he'll randomly slip at work and hes scrambling to GTFO and usually the team can hear the extra distress if he forgets to mute himself- he does that a lot(adhd core)
he would be mortified if someone knew he was never an adult- one, HE USED TO BE A VILLAIN, and two, HE WORKS AS A HERO NOW AND ITS DANGEROUS
he also just doesnt want to be babied, even at his youngets hes not baby!! kiddo yeah, but not a toddler or baby,(though no one would baby him, they know how young he regresses!)
even when not smaller he still calls Malovola mama, he cant help it!! she mama!!
same for Chase, he papa or grandpa! he cant escape it!!
he prefers Mal, Chase, or Robert to be his caregiver, but he also likes Katon, Flambae, Alice, and Victor, other than that he's chill, but he calls everyone else a sitter(so sir, maam, ms, or mister!), Many and Royd only escape this from vicinity, but its a chill 'ma' and 'pa' from him, he doesnt care for them much but he cares for anyone else less lol
half the time he sits Courtney and Janelle when they're little and he's like o-o what do i do with babies
he stopped growing about 8, he was a brick shithouse but he wasnt tall XD
when suuuper stressed he can regress down to 6, which doesnt sound like much younger but holy COW does this man hold so much truama

he was an orphan till 7, so before that? hoooo lord dont remind him- after he was adopted at 7 his life was good!!! his adoptive parents were loving and caring!! but his bio parents? abusive as hell, and even with that what traumatized him more was watching them both die to a hero, his parents werent good people by any means, but they died painful deaths and the hero didnt care that he was right there-
he almost died to if it wasnt for a villain that actually saved him, sure they killed the hero also in front of him, but they took him to the best orphanage they knew, he was only 5,

he was non verbal till he was adopted at 7
and even then it took him half a year to finally start to relax and realize they werent going to drop him back off like other families did,
his adoptive parents couldnt conseve, so they adopted! they basically saw Colm and decided yeah, he needs a home, even if he never saw them as parents
but he did! it took him awhile but the first think they heard from him was him calling his mom 'mama' in a meek voice while tugging on her dress, he was wanting to ask if he could go play on the playground they were walking by while heading home, buut all he managed were puppy eyes and a point,
after that he could ask for almost anything, they were so happy!!! though he never asked for much, but that year for his birthday is when he got his kelpie!! he never left it, and he kept it in as perfect condition as he could!! even if he slept with it every night lol
he still texts and calls his parents, they're up there in age but they adopted him in their early 20s! so theres not too much time between them!
the only reason he doesnt go home for the holidays is because he has a whole family now!! sure its his team and some others but hey, family is what connections you make! not who you're blood related to, but he always invites his parents if he wants and he'll sometimes ask Malovola to portal him in for awhile!!

hi there little friend ! i discussed my personal experience a bit here but permaregression is when somebody is regressed 100% of the time or permanently. a lot of the time and in my case it’s due to trauma , i am permanently between the ages of 14 and 16 because of traumatic reasons. typically permaregressors are regressed to older childhood or teen ages but it varies per person. i and other permaregressors can regress younger but don’t tend to go older than the age they are permaregressed to. sometimes permaregression can be tied to mental health struggles or neurodivergency but again it’s case by case. i hope this is worded okay and makes sense ! if anyone has anything to add or if i worded anything funkily let me know. i’m mostly going off of my own experiences here. i’m running on no sleep atm so apologies if i’m not making the most sense lol.
