There is something that's been bothering me. It's not essential to the plot, but I do think that it means something.

In 'The Desolations of Devil's Acre' Myron was the one who informed Jacob on how to defeat Caul, and he was also the one who helped make loop collapses safer.

Basically, he was very essential to the peculiars' victory, but I don't think he was mentioned as having helped them. At all.

In the 'Library of Souls', however, Caul did credit Perplexus on his discovery of the Library of Souls.

'Since I owe this discovery in part to your expeditions and hard work- credit where credit is due!- I think you should do the honors and open the door.'

This might not seem like proper credit, but he did mention what Perplexus did do, and he didn't specify how much of work the 'part' represents, and how it should be taken into context (is it a 3/5? 9/10? 54%? 73%?), so this can be considered adequate.

He also invited him to open the door to Abaton, which might not seem like much, but if you've been spending your whole life trying to find something, then opening the door to it yourself would, in fact, hold a lot of meaning.

Again, this doesn't hold much context, but I find it strange that Caul did mention Perplexus as having helped him, but Jacob didn't so much as mentally thank Myron.

speaking of perplexi, the reason why this one doesn't have the plastic covering is that the part circled in red was bent (most likely a mistake during manufacturing), which made that part much harder, so quite a long time after we got it, my dad removed the plastic so that part could be bent back into shape
