The other day my 6 year old put on a Canada Day shirt for Canada day and when she looked at herself in the mirror she saw that Canada was written backwards. Because she was over tired from attending Guide Camp the night before, and she thought I bought her a shitty shirt, she threw a huge fit.
I tried to reason with her that everything was backward in your reflection. I showed her how my right arm was my reflection’s left, how my scar was on the other side and I even wrote a message on a piece of paper, got her to read it forward, and then showed her how it was backwards in the mirror but she still would not believe me.
She acted like I was the dumbest person on Earth because she could clearly see in the mirror that Canada was written backwards.
I told her take of the shirt and read it from a different perspective and she would would not. I think mostly because she did not want to admit she was wrong.
I couldn’t even be mad, because I was like, “This is what it is like interacting with people on social media most days and they are all much older than you, Bean.”
over a month ago now, I got the itch to draw a room, and I finally got around to finishing it. Still haven't figured out the digital tricks for perspective, but I like how it turned out^^
