♡ Some fairies have pointed ears. It's a genetic trait, like freckles or eye colour.
♡ Fairies have two forms: one that is the indistinguishable from humans (except for the wings, but those can be folded away) and one that is two or three inches tall.
♡ We have our own language. To humans, it sounds similar to the individual’s native language, yet impossible to understand.
♡ Some fairies have fangs (another genetic trait). They’re not vampires, don’t worry! But their bites can induce a powerful, dream-like trance. The effect is like that of a love potion.
♡ Fairy society, by nature, is very secretive. This manifests strongly in individuals as well; if you tell a fairy a secret, they will guard it close to their heart.
♡ According to my half-human friend, “fairies are all bisexual.” Or more accurately, we don’t have labels for sexualities. We just let it be – if you’re attracted to someone, you’re attracted to someone. If you’re not, you’re not. It’s all accepted.
♡ Fairy wings are always in the image of an existing butterfly. For example, mine are like those of a common blue. My grandmother has wings like a red admiral.
I hope some of you find this interesting <3
