Anyway, Cassandra was another of Perseus's little friends down in the Basement. She was supposed to be introduced on the askblog but I never did, so I never posted her reference.

She's based on a crystal ball, but not much else. She was supposed to be a tragic character but I never got to develop her that much. But who knows... maybe Perseus will make a return and we'll see more of her... I literally do not know what to write here, if you're curious about her/her backstory my inbox is always open

I feel like Arachne would be the only one with enough energy to actually want to try and play it. And then she’d love all the customisation options! She’d make lots of friends I’m sure. And maybe try to drag Perseus, or Hector or Cassandra into it too.

The others are either too miserable or too preoccupied with leaving the Basement to try anything new. Arachne is the only one okay with her situation, so she’s also the most stable one. She doesn’t particularly miss her home, and has managed to carve herself a nice little life in the Basement with her spider friends.

Ariadne, the last of Perseus's little crew.

In the original story, Theseus abandons her on the island of Naxos and I wanted to play on that a little bit. Like she waited for him so long that she turned into limestone herself, fusing with the rocks on the beach. This is why the Basement turned her into stone, it's playing into her own desperation. I wonder. If a certain god will make his appearence too, to help her get out of there wink wink nudge nudge.

She had an inkling of gameplay thought up, mainly that she would have every floor would have the Curse of the Labyrinth, but idk, I am not great at thinking up gameplay for my characters.
