I'm gonna level with my followers for a moment.

I actually pursued polytheism as a way to return to my ancestral beliefs. Bad thing is most if not all of the documentation in regards to deities in the phillipine archipelago was ripped apart and reduced to ash because well. Colonialism.

Despite this deep yearning I have for the true old ways, I got tapped by Loki first, then Hekate.

It's never going to give me that deep cultural continuity I hoped for. But I can accept that it put me on the path I follow today, and I am happy with my work.

But just because I'm happy with what I've got, doesn't mean I don't feel that bone deep hurt or yearning that is a direct consequence of centuries of colonization and assimilation.

I just recently decided to change my major, which is a big step for me bc I am very anxious about change, but I looked and everything is now switched over! I can finally relax (sorta I’m a university student, I can never relax).
