so, i drew this comic a while back, shortly after my parents came to visit me for the first time since i moved out. a lot has changed since i lived with them, and i felt the need to put those weird, nostalgic, growing-pain emotions into my art.

this is an extremely personal comic but ive grown to realize just how important it is for younger or closeted trans people to see moments like this, emotions and complicated feelings like this.

if youre trans and youre having a hard time coming out to your parents or you resonate with this at all, please just know things get better. be true to yourself, and never hide who you are or water yourself down for other people's comfort.
