hey just a small little personal thing here. I got fired my from my server job this morning because I threatened to tell one of the owners about the way the manager treated us. I got completely taken off the schedule, no notice, nothing.

The good news is I now have time to write

The bad news is I still have to pay for my tuition for this next semester and I’m broke as hell

I've been over the moon for the last week and a half, listening to so much of my vinyl collection, since Roger got me a good turntable and speaker as a combined birthday/anniversary present!

I didn't realize how much I had been missing collecting and playing analog music til I finally had it again-my last record player crapped out way before the pandemic, maybe around 2017.

It's nice to have a hobby back.

This weekend has been one of the most Herculean challenges and a test of my mental fortitude I haven't had in literal years.

I'm so exhausted. I got no rest essentially from 8pm Saturday onward after I woke up groggy from a nap to a heartbreaking message. All on top of restarting my meds.

This isn't, like, a 'woe is me' type post. It's a thank you. To anyone and everyone who interacted with me online, you kept me that much more sane this weekend. Helped me break from the reality of my situation for a much needed respite. Whether you knew it or not.

I deeply and wholeheartedly appreciate each and every one of y'all 💖💖💖💖

yesterday i was in line at the post office and an older man was in front of me, like late 60s, white hair and beard, but taller than me

and he smelled vaguely like cigarettes, and my brain just really intensely remembered my grandfather

i hadn't really had any contact with him or my grandma before he died, due to some bad family drama on their part, and i was okay when he died, but in that moment i really missed him, at least how i used to see him

like, sorry for the random intense emotional projection, post office man. these things happen

Been Not Sleeping and doing job interviews and currently wrangling with a BEAST of an episode I think y’all will be most pleased with. So, consider that your special Tumblr-Only update.
