Hey there! I go by Troy (he/they in a David Bowie kind of way) and I’m a university student with never enough time. I can’t believe I’ve been running this blog for almost two years now…woah. Anyway, since I’ve been inactive for a while, I wanted to update some things for 2025!

A Small Letter

Hey! If you’re reading this, I’ve probably passed away. it’s been in my queue for a while now so if it gets posted, then i’ve closed the door.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give my stories closure. haha, i guess i never could get around to writing out all the lovely ideas in my inbox. I wish I could have finished at least the Savior storyline or at least written an ending for it…unfortunately, art imitates life, and sometimes, there just isn’t an answer. I hope you can understand. I’m happy enough knowing that a handful of people out there liked what i wrote!

i’m sorry if it felt like i’ve abandoned my friends on here— i love you, i care, i do, i promise. I’m sorry.

Oh! Please, you have to know I’m so grateful for the conversations i’ve had with each and every one of you— i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, I love you guys. The people i’ve met on here are souls I cherish as beautiful and inspiring and creative— thank you.

Whump prompt!

Whumpee has been injured on a mission. They need their wound to be bandaged up, but they're still in dangerous territory. Whumpee, caretaker, and team member find a safe spot to hide, but cannot be loud or make too much noise.

Team member has to patch up whumpee with no anesthetic or pain killer, and whumpee is conscious the whole time. Caretaker has to not only keep them from moving too much, but also from being too loud so they don't get caught.

"Christ-- I didn't think it was that deep" A sharp inhale, jaw clenched. "Don't-- fucking-- touch it--" "We have to do a lot more than touch it. Let me finish."

Caretaker pulling them close, "Hey, hey, hey, lean into me. Don't thrash!" "Easy for you-- fuck it hurts-- to say." "Bite my arm before you say another word-- Whumpee-- I love you, don't make me die for you."

Whumpee struggling to breathe, each gasp ripped out of them, "It's burning-- stop-- just stop please stop--" Medic is unable to look up as they focus on the twitching tendons and dirt-riled blood. Lips barely moving, they force out, "The bullet...it's still hot." Caretaker grabbing Whumpee's face, leaning in to press forehead to forehead. Sweat-stained and burning up with a feverish tinge. "Look at me." Whumpee's eyes are wandering. "Stay with me. You're real. I'm real. I'm here."

"I'm sorry-- I'm sorry, I can't-- I can't--" "Pressure now! Hold them tighter!" "Fuck--" "Someone gag them, goddamn."

"You have to operate? Right now?" Caretaker and Medic exchange furtive glances. Caretaker places a heavy hand on Whumpee's shoulder. They stare them down until Whumpee looks away, lip already trembling. Then come the horrible words: "It's for your own good."

"Hey, look, you're done. It's all over." Blood and sweat and sharp-scented walnut fill the hidden hollow. Whumpee can barely sit up, leaning against Caretaker, too exhausted to even open their eyes. Their hair sticks to their forehead in strands. "Hurts...hurts like hell." Caretaker holds up a bottle of water for Whumpee to drink from. "Shh," they whisper, "Hell means you're alive."

*pokes head in figurative doorframe* what if Whumpee was choked by Whumper (s) previously and Caretaker has to choke them (adding another risk of death) because they’re still making sounds from their vocal chords through their throat even when gagged and later once they’re at a safe house Whumpee knows it was for the best and tells caretaker so but flinches now when Caretaker raises their hands too suddenly when close to whumpee’s neck *skitters off*

alternate idea (for something completely different) medic flails and tells caretaker “just distract them!” caretaker and whumpee are lovers who haven’t seen eachother in a while and haven’t had a chance to talk about their relationship or exes who still have passion for eachother and caretaker puts on the moves on whumpee

that one I think would probably work best primarily from the element of surprise, like setting a bone in traction at the same moment as caretaker full on soldier home from war frenches whumpee

Whump but the Whumper wants a giggle instead of complete control.

The Whumper uses the Whumpee as an entertaining pet best friend, NOT a "yes" man.

The Whumper doesn't mind at all, even enjoys it, if the Whumpee is sarcastic, talks back, is a smartass or even if the Whumpee makes jabs at the Whumper, as long as the Whumpee complies with orders, and as long as the smartassery is funny.

Leading the Whumpee to be confident and always the center of attention Post-Whump, the Caretaker wondering if the Whumpee was even affected...

But what the Caretaker doesn't know is that the SECOND the Whumpee was boring, or non-compliant, even if they were just exhausted and didn't want to talk, the Whumpee would be starved by the Whumper of food, social interaction, touch, water, even the bathroom, until they started being both funny, entertaining, and compliant to every beck and call. 24/7. regardless of innter turnmoil whenever the Whumper needs their idiotic jester.

Leading the Whumpee to go from confident and classy, the life of the party, to scared, meek and quiet and flinching at every sound, whenever someone ignores them or tells them "you're so weird/stupid/annoying"

The huff of air that is forced from their chest. The hands on the wall to steady themself. The dazed expression or bloody nose when they hit their head/face off the wall. The crumpling/sliding to the ground. The cowering and curling up to shield themself from further attack. The aggravation of previous injuries

Could you write some corruption whump prompts/ideas, please? The kind of corruption that’s more like a sickness or infection, rather than moral corruption. I’ve always loved this trope, and I’d love to see more of it! Whumpee, whumper, or even caretaker, it doesn’t matter to me (although whumpee turned unwilling whumper always works well with this trope, hehe).

BEAUTIFUL HORRIFYING GOD THIS IS BRILLIANT

whumper placing a spell-bind on whumpee, gold burning at their retinas, slowly eating away at the back of their mind. Head empty, eyes gold. Forced to be a puppet, kneeling at whumper's feet, arms swinging at their side. It gets to a point where whumpee's friends scream their name, frantic, and whumpee doesn't even glance in their direction.

A symbiote takes root inside whumpee's ribcage, growing, growing, growing and whumper offers a cure-- with a catch. The removal takes some intrinsic part of whumpee with it, and the scars remain

Whumpee is slashed with a sorcerer's blade. An infection that defeats all antibiotics sets in. Eventually it heals over, but the old wound still aches, and more recently whumpee's arm has been twitching...and they've been experiencing lapses in memory. Why do they have a copper-blood-stained knife? Where are they? Who's laughing?

Living Plague. ummm whumpee is forcibly strapped down and infected to force them to talk. Unfortunately, the serum hasn't been tested and whumpee is now hallucinating and declining rapidly. All caretaker can do is try to help them distinguish reality from nightmare. "You're real. You're here. Say it with me"

Whumpee coughs up black phlegm and instead of telling anyone, they wipe their mouth with the back of their hand and carry on with their duties. A dark shadow is growing, and they're constantly cold. Their thoughts are intrusive, blinding, and demanding attention. It burrows deeper every day, and by the time caretaker realizes what's happened, it's almost too late.

What kind of whumper, whumpee and caretaker would you be if you were thrust into each role?? And out of all three, which would you most likely be? And which do you think would be more fun!!! 3:)

oh boy okay lets so this

whumper. It would have to be for revenge purposes. I'd have to utterly despise this person with every fiber of my being and want to right the wrong. Whumper-version of me may even be empathetic to others or take care of Whumpee from time to time, but ultimately, there's a baseball bat in my basement and they want to use it. The sadism would be situational, not absolute.

caretaker. reluctant, reluctant, SO DAMN RELUCTANT. I'd be terrified of making things worse and saying the wrong thing. I'd be the type of caretaker to show up with a warm drink and sit in silence with them. I wouldn't be able to offer advice and do not ask me to come on the rescue mission-- i'd throw myself through a loop wondering if could have done something different to prevent the situation. (most likely, bc i'm already pretty similar to this)

whumpee. dude. I already lash out when people yell at me, so i'd definitely have to learn the hard way to shut up. I'd probably lose a hand or a limb or my sense of humanity. I think if i were a whumpee, I'd prefer to be in a living weapon situation-- let me have some outlet, anything at all, i need to latch onto something to have a will to live, even if its morally fragile. (this character is just far more preferable to me being a whumper. its just not realistic man)

I love the idea of a whumpee having a wardrobe malfunction that leads to a past injury/torture reveal.

Oh, your sleeve ripped and your whole team saw the brand your kidnapper branded you with? Delicious, tell me more!

Your shirt rode up when you took off your sweatshirt and your coworkers saw the scars from when you were whipped repeatedly? Oh boy I love that stuff!

jaw twitches; whether the character is biting back an insult or a groan of pain or, deliciously, a scream

little breath shudders; those small hitches when something is jostled, or when they can't the words out without their voice trembling from exhaustion or emotion

apologies; mumbled, under their breath, or scraping through the lungs. shoutout to "please" in a hoarse voice or from someone near tears

for androids, thick chunky cables; ports on the back of the neck where they connect, reactions of electricity visible in slightly twitching fingers or rapid blinking

nosebleeds; I especially love them when the character barely acknowledges it, too busy staring at chaos or a wounded friend or the world ending as rivers pool beneath their hands, dripping from their chin

underrated moment in whump is when the character realizes that not even unconsciousness is an escape. The pain no longer exists separate of who they are. Disassociation only ends in an inevitable loop of everything breaking, over and over again

no, it's not whump if the whumpee enjoys it

yes, as long as there's pain/injury involved, it's still whump
