If you folks could send some good vibes for my rat who’s getting a tumor removed today it’d be appreciated. He’s a sweet old chatterbox and in good health otherwise so hopefully he’s got a good few months left to do rat activities.

What happend to Tumblr?
where are all the tumblr famous people blogging their lives?
i miss it so much. Starpowerrr, Jessica woods, jasmine blu, where have they all gone? Tavi Gevinson was an internetfashion queen and the reason i started using Tumblr was to follow her blog. They were interesting woman, creative, artistic and fashionable. I feel like a lot of these woman got bullied off the internet and its such a shame, i don't think a lot of these women did anything that was that scandalous. Tumblr and blogging was my life back in 2010-2015. TikTok just does not cut it, and I don't think TikTok has any cool it girls (don't you dare say Alex Earl) the intimacy that blogging gave is gone the customisation is gone and as fun as instagram can be its not it. Don't even get me started on twitter!
honestly i blame normies, they all got on the internet in 2020 started monitising exsesivly and its never been the same since.
fuck it! i will start my own art/photography/daily life blog, anonomusly of course. better late than never and unfortunitly a debilitating illness has prevented me from leaving the house often soooo...
i know I'm probably just screaming into the abyss but its something I've always wanted to do since i was younger and never had the courage to do. Now at the ripe old age of 33 i will blog my life and art.
My cat needs help
My cat, Rascal, is acting like he's in pain. We need to take him to the vet. He may have kidney issues.
We're going to find out on Thursday. He had a blockage of crystals last time he went to the vet.
He is still peeing, but the spots in the litter box are kind of light colored. We don't know if that's alarming or if that's because we did a full refresh on the boxes to make sure there wasn't anything bacterial growing in there making it worse. He's drinking more too, so that could contribute.
But he won't really let us pet him, or pick him up, and when he's not sleeping or laying down he's being pretty vocal. He's kind of lethargic. When he is is, he's pacing. Or going from litter box to litter box trying to figure out if he even wants to use one.
Anyway, all this to say, I could use some help. Commissions would be great, or donate to my ko-fi?
Anything helps! Even spreading the word!
i really love how the resident evil fandom comes together to celebrate the day raccoon city ate shit 🥰
It’s time to call in the big guns, boys

I know theme blogs are really popular on Tumblr : whether they’re focused on one fandom, one aesthetic, or one super niche topic. And honestly, I love them! I think it’s amazing to follow people who have that sharp focus and curation.
But for me, I’ve realized I enjoy blogging differently. My blog feels more like a personal diary: a mix of all my passions, fandoms, moods, and random thoughts. One day it’s a book review, the next it’s a manga log, then a little gaming as a noob, then some fanart or a post about Urdu poetry. Sometimes it’s a Pakistani drama next to a K-drama, or Bollywood alongside an indie film.
There are recurring threads, things I always seem drawn to, across every medium: dysfunctional families, mental health, poetic narration, realistic themes, revolution, change. I love altering between long meta posts about my recent obsession and casual one-liner posts. But overall, it’s definitely eclectic, a little chaotic, and very much my brain spilled onto a dashboard.
Some people have advised me to split it up, to make different niche blogs. And I get why! But honestly? That would overwhelm me. I’d rather keep everything here, even if it means I’ll reach fewer people. I love the freedom of mixing it all together. That’s the format that makes me happiest, so I think I’ll stick with it.
