CINNAMON AND EXPRESSO! prompt.
[ Description: Brendon Park. The notorious "shark of orthopedics" was doing good in life on the outside. He was married to a beautiful woman, they have three beautiful children together, they have a dog, he bought a house in the suburbs.
His children, the two old enough to attend school, only went to the best with tutoring afterwards. He met with his father once a week, had lunch with his mother, made appearances when required.
He was a good neighbor, never too loud, never involved in drama, never even got a notice from the HOA. His career was thriving, he was one of the best orthopedic surgeon's in the area, he wrote academic and research papers, articles.
The only public problem be had, was his lack of a personal chef, which is where beta reader comes in.
A young woman out of culinarily school who grew up on strict homemade/handmade recipes. You came barreling into Brendon Parks life with flour smeared on your cheeks, and a scent too sweet for your own good. ]
Pairing: Alpha Brendon "The Shark" Park x Beta female reader
Note: I wanted to write Brendon Park with a non-healthcare worker, since my other three stories are all Brendon x healthcare worker. Since I like turning everything into omegaverse here is, once again, a Brendon “The Shark” Park x Beta Reader.
I honestly have no idea if I’m going to turn this into a mini-series, right now it’s just a cute little idea so enjoy!
This is not apart of: THEY COME IN A PAIR, DO NOT SEPARATE! mini-series, APPROVAL mini-series, or STICKS OF BONES mini-series.
Will be posted on this tumblr account and my AO3 account: thewriters64 NOWHERE else.

Beta reader: Who comes from a huge family, and I mean a huge family. The type of family who lives in a family compound and everyone helps raise each other's pups. You consider your aunts, uncles and grandparents as parents just as much as your own parents. It takes a village right?
Beta reader: There's all the secondary designations in your family too! Alphas, betas, omegas, all of them are there and mingle freely. Sure there is the occasional squabble between alphas... your family isn't perfect.
Beta reader: who was taught proper etiquette and pack hierarchy, and becomes confused when she sees others outside of her family not behave the way she was raised. She's a little sheltered.
Beta reader: who has a very potent scent for a beta, to the point she sometimes gets confused for an omega. Which she is not! She just smells like cinnamon and expresso, it's not her fault it's stronger than normal betas.
Beta reader: who is hard of hearing and has to wear hearing aids, the type that wrap behind her ear to make them more noticeable.
Beta reader: who loves cooking, even when she was a pup and couldn't talk, she stood on a stool stirring. There are pictures all throughout her parents den...
Beta reader: who always knew she was going to be a private chef, she never wanted to be anything else, she use to participate in town bake sales, and sell food at Farmers Markets in her hometown.
Beta reader: who had already been accepted into a culinary school before she graduated high school, and left the same day she graduated.
Beta reader: who graduated culinary school at the top of her class, and traveled the world for a few years. Studying under renown chef's, and just enjoying life before settling down in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Beta reader: who stills bakes and sells things at Farmers Markets on the weekends, she even started dabbling in crochet projects after she saw a really cute sweater.
Beta reader: who was never one who longed for designer or extravagant things for herself, but spends thousands upon thousands of dollars on the proper cutlery, pots & pans, and ingredients.
Beta reader: who became the private chef of a neurosurgeon who works at PTMC, who passes out her business cards to other surgeons after being “bullied” by them.
Beta reader: who is called by none other than Brendon Park offering her a job.
Beta reader: who shows up at his home and presents her wrist as proper etiquette, and is thoroughly surprised and giddy when he inhales her scent and approves.
Beta reader: who was not expecting the same gesture, but happily goes through the respective motions.
Beta reader: who is strictly professional, a contract already drawn up, her work hours, expectations, what she does and doesn't do, her hourly rate. Everything. Her credentials, recommendations, even past testimonies from prior clients.
Beta reader: who genuinely impresses Brendon, and that is an extremely rare thing to do.
Beta reader: who is mistaken for an omega by Brendon and gently corrects him, sensing his disbelief, she shows him her medical report that states her second designation.
Beta reader: who meets Brendon's wife and pups, immediately clicking with the pups. Which, is also not an easy thing to do considering how rambunctious they are.
Beta reader: who was already hired in Brendon's mind as soon as she pulled out her contract, and started telling him how their relationship would work.
Beta reader: who started working for the Parks the week after their meeting, and showed up before the sun had risen to get started.
Beta reader: who became part of the Parks routine without even trying to, and suddenly started helping Mrs. Park with the kids in the morning. Of course she was paid extra.
Beta reader: who is paid way more than her hourly rate, and argues with Brendon about it. She hates that he is paying her so much. It wasn't necessary in her eyes.
Beta reader: who just loves their dog, a sweet, well trained German Shepherd who was an ex military dog. When she mentioned her own dog, maybe a Golden Retriever or a Rough Collie. Brendon suggests bringing them whenever she works for them, this way they’re not alone.
Beta reader: who meets Brendon's nona at a dinner party, and shocks everyone when they were found conversing in Italian in the kitchen. Brendon's nona is still prickly with his wife.
Beta reader: who genuinely loves working for the Parks, out of all her clients she finds them to be her favorite.
Beta reader: who was asked to bring Brendon his lunch at work since he forgot it by his wife, and is then mistaken by the Hospital staff as his wife... they know he's married, they know he has children, they've just never seen them before.
Beta reader: who apologizes profusely to Brendon, saying she tried to tell them it's not true. Only for Brendon to brush it off, it was a simple misunderstanding and he would “take care of it.”
Beta reader: who is a big help to Mrs. Park when it comes to all the pups in the house, even going as far as entertaining all of them so she could have a moms day out.
Beta reader: who was found by Brendon asleep on the floor with his pups and dogs... the youngest of his litter swaddled against her chest.
Beta reader: who almost cries when she sees a book on sign language left out in the living room, the spine of the book creased and obviously used.
Beta reader: who always makes heavier protein/nutritious meals leading up to Brendon's ruts and Mrs. Parks heats. Sometimes even surprising them with how accurate her timing is, she can smell them coming on weeks in advance. Quirk of being a beta.
Beta reader: who was once attacked by a client who was a few days away from starting his rut, and is now extra cautious around Brendon during those few days. Wearing clinical strength scent patches, and carries a neutralizer spray on her person.
Beta reader: who has heard the married couple argue more times than have an actual conversation, but acts like it doesn't happen because it's none of her business.
Beta reader: who accidentally overhears Mrs, Park mention to her friends that Brendon and hers bonding bites are fading, and they haven't attempted to fix them.
Beta reader: who later helps a very drunk Mrs. Park to her nest, and has to turn off her hearing aids to avoid any further hearing loss.
Beta reader: who unknowingly becomes one of Brendon's first honest friend, not some colleague, or someone who only became his friend after he made a name for himself.
Beta reader: who manages to make Brendon laugh at the next family dinner and is pretty much accepted into the Park family pack. Unknowingly.
Beta reader: who is asked by Brendon to move into the spare room he has, so it would be easier to work for him and her other clients.
Beta reader: who has no idea how to respond to such a question.
Note: opinions? Let me know what you think and if you want a mini-series!
