But now I finally have a good Shin and Minato!! And a light blue bromide at that. I'm blessed by Purple, Red and Green usually, with a dash of Yellow...

King of Prism Collabs Part 3: GraffArt Café in Ikebukuro

[ Part 1: Hybrid Mind Market ] [ Part 2: Crepe Cafe ] [ Part 3: GraffArt Ikebukuro Café ] Onto the GraffArt Cafe in Ikebukuro!

It's location was almost quaint, a bit off from the Ikebukuro station when walking past Don Quixote. You can't see into the cafe very well so I went in and asked the staff if this was indeed the right café.. ;;; (Animate has multiple cafés for example, wasn’t sure about GraffArt)

Anyway...

They seated us and told us the basic rules of the cafe, gave us the menu and a small paper list where you have to checkmark the items you want to order and hand it in at the cashier. After that they’ll start making your food. As is usual with collab cafe's there’s a minimum purchase of one drink or food item per person.

The food itself wasn’t collab themed but rather just normal sweet stuff and drinks, mostly. The menu wasn’t very long, but the drinks, waffles and cake we got were delicious nonetheless. Sadly the melon soda was sold out, it’s my favorite.

While waiting for the food I went to look at the stuff they're selling, LOTS of blind bags but also quite a bit of non random stuff. I only got a couple of sticky note pads, Schwarz Rose for me and Over The Rainbow for @koujibee.

I looove the usual GraffArt style of artwork. It's SO cute! The KinPri theme at the moment was Alice in Wonderland, something I also love. I managed to get every coaster in the set with some duplicates through just ordering our food. It was one coaster per 300 yen spent if I remember correctly.

If you go to a collab cafe and get coasters and buy blind bags, check/open them then and there in case you get stuff you don't want/need. Because if you place them on the side of your table people will know that you want to trade those.

A girl at another table had an Alec/Joji coaster (I wanted dupes of that one) so I asked what she's looking for; “Obare” -- Over The Rainbow. Ah, I had two of those indeed but wanted one for myself and one for @koujibee… So I let it be for the time being.

Later another group of girls came to my table to look at what's for trade and wanted my extra Shin/Louis and Leo/Yuu, in which case I got a third OTR. So back to the Obare-girl I go, to get that extra Alec/Joji!! Everyone was happy in the end, it's a great feeling.

Ikebukuro also had a Churros collab with King of Prism, but when I saw it I had juuust went to the Hypnosis Mic Animate Café collab and couldn’t eat anything more at all. ; - ;

King of Prism Collabs Part 2:  Laforet Crepe Cafe

[ Part 1: Hybrid Mind Market ] [ Part 2: Crepe Cafe ] [ Part 3: GraffArt Ikebukuro Café ] After the HMM shop I went to try the King of Prism collab crepe from Crepe Cafe right outside/next to Laforet and--

Boy OH BOY THAT’S ONE BIG INSANE HUNK OF CREPE. And I bought two, cause why the hell not?! (Who am I kidding, I wanted 2 chances at the Alec coaster since my friend took a normal crepe… ; . ; )

You better be READY SPARKING to down this one. ... Or two if you’re crazy.

The crepes costed 980 yen each and contained a ball of mint ice cream, lots of fruit, candy and whipped cream. I could only finish one and a half before having to give up. I was really considering maybe getting another on the way to out of Harajuku for just one more chance at Alec’s coaster (;_;) but got no such opportunity, and I think my heart thanks me for that lol.

For each crepe bought you get a paper placemat with the Edel Rose crepe chibis and a random coaster (these can also have the Schwarz Rose boys). Since it’s just a normal crepe shop with regular people buying regular crepes there isn’t really a chance to find people to trade KinPri coasters with, unlike in collab cafés. (tho if you live in Japan the trading communities seem to be quite active on twitter)

King of Prism Collabs Part 1: Hybrid Mind Market in Laforet, Harajuku

[ Part 1: Hybrid Mind Market ] [ Part 2: Crepe Cafe ] [ Part 3: GraffArt Ikebukuro Café ] Couple weeks ago I went to Japan/Tokyo and visited the Hybrid Mind Market Pop Up Shop at Laforet in Harajuku, ate the collab crepe and went to the GraffArt Cafe in Ikebukuro since they also had a KinPri collab going on. Hybrid Mind Market Collab Pop Up Shop

This shop was located in the far corner on B1F of Laforet in Harajuku. If you look at this photo you can barely make out Minato on the back wall to the very right. There was a bunch of Shiny Seven Stars merch sold (mostly blind bags, but also some non random stuff!) and a tiny bit of OTR things too.

The shop had cardboard cutouts of Kakeru & Shin and Yuu & Yukinojou. I don’t know if they had more and switch them out or what, but those four were there when I went.

If you bought acrylic stands there were photography boxes with nice lighting and backgrounds where you could take pictures of them.

Lots and lots of merch! Guess my favorite shelf though... (abs lol) I love those street style outfits so I got the clear file set, it contains all three of Kazuki, Taiga and Alexander.

A fun little thing was the Name Sticker Machine. It had two different design, the hospital one and the chibi crepe one. It was 300 yen per use for a bunch of cute name stickers. I got both of Alec's designs of course, sadly there was no OTR.

Bought some blind bag badges, it had a 4/7 chance of Alexander aaaaand........... I got none with him at all. Buuut I really love Kazuki and Taiga too or else I wouldn't even have tried these in the first place, just kinda funny I got their full set with none of Alec to be seen lol.

These... these books are just seriously amazing.

They're full of Character x Reader stories seen from the reader's perspective. There's two books and one of them has different cover editions (I got the one with Alec and Kazuki wow, what a surprise :D).

I might try to post some translations or summaries for some stories (there's A LOT, even ones for Hijiri, Jin, DJ Coo and Yamada) so if there's a specific character anyone wants to see just send an ask I guess?

For every 3.000 yen spent you got a random Bromide card. I’m very happy with Joji and Kakeru, incidentally both with winky faces and also Kakeru with his hair swept to the side yesss.
