Also he had the support of a misogeny comunity in internet that reinforced his toxic ideas about women, masculinity and relationships. That and his evident narcissism and entitlement was a factor in this crime
Yeah. But the point I was trying to make was that, while his participation in that community clearly had an impact on his choice of target, he was the only member who actually tried to commit such a crime, and so his personal narcissism and feelings of entitlement shouldn't be treated as irrelevant in comparison to the misogyny. Both factors contributed, and both factors ought to be considered when trying to avoid the next incident.
(Of course, as I mentioned, there are a bunch of other good reasons to deal with the misogyny factor, too -- just because he was the only mass killer in that community doesn't mean that other members of it didn't hurt women in other ways)

As usual, I'll answer the questions, but I don't like tagging people. If anyone else wants to answer them, though, go right ahead. ;)
1. Favorite time of the year and why.
I'm honestly not sure. I mean, all of them have their upsides and downsides. Spring is usually nice and temperate, the flowers are blooming and the trees are green, and there are a few good holidays, but it can sometimes feel like it's winter one day and summer the next with nothing in between. Summer allows for swimming and cook outs, but it's way too hot. Fall is really pretty because of the falling leaves and it can be nice and temperate, but there's not much going on holiday-wise and it can have the same freezing/sweltering mix that spring does. And Winter means awesome holidays and the snow can be really pretty, but driving in it is awful.
So, it's kind of a toss-up, I guess. XD;
2. What made you get a tumblr in the first place.
I had some friends in the Kingdom Hearts fandom who kept mentioning it and they talked me into getting one.
3. Favorite memory and why.
Memories aren't exactly the sort of thing that I think of in terms of favorites... I honestly have no idea how I'd decide. XD; I've got a bunch of great memories of places I've traveled to, though.
4. What do you prefer ATLA or LOK and why?
I love A:tLA, but LoK definitely hits harder for me, and it all comes down to Korra herself. She's just everything I love to see in a character wrapped into one, and her character arc is exactly the sort of thing that I can identify with.
5. Favorite ATLA or LOK character and why.
Korra, without question, for the reasons I've mentioned above. Zuko's my favorite A:tLA character, because I loved his character arc, too (even if I couldn't relate to him quite as much as Korra).
6. What is one thing about yourself that you’d change and why.
My lack of motivation. I have a bad habit of not doing the things I want to do, and it would be great if that stopped happening. XD;
7. A movie you want to see, but haven’t seen yet.
It's not out yet, but I want to see Mockingjay when it comes out.
8. How do you usually cope when things are tough?
I usually find something to distract me so I don't have to think about it. >_>;
9. What are some of your hobbies outside of tumblr?
Martial arts -- aikido and Eishin-ryu iaijutsu. I draw sometimes, too, but my computer isn't working well enough for me to post any of that online. XD;
10. Favorite kinds of music.
I'm really not picky -- as long as there's a good melody line, I'm happy. I do love unconventional arrangements, though, like adding an orchestra and a rock group or mixing Asian instruments into jazz.
Gonna take the opportunity to post my answers here, because I can. ;)
RULE 1:ALWAYS POST THE RULES
RULE 2: ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THE PERSON WHO TAGGED YOU ASKED, AND WRITE 11 NEW ONES
RULE 3: TAG 11 PEOPLE AND LINK THEM TO THE POST
RULE 4: ACTUALLY TELL THEM YOU TAGGED THEM
…well, I’m not doing the tag thing, because I never do, but I’ll answer the questions you set out for me. ^_^;
1) Best dish you’ve eaten that you’ve made?
I rarely make food, so this is kind of a tough one. >_>; I'm assuming cookies don't count, so, probably pasta.
2) Any series that someone recommended to you that you didn’t hate, but couldn’t get into?
It depends on what you mean by "get into." There are a bunch of things that I'd be perfectly happy watching with the people who recommended them to me that I wouldn't seek out on my own (say, Dr. Who), but unless I hate things, I'm usually okay with watching them.
3) Genre of music that you never thought you’d get into but got into?
I had a really weird understanding of metal when I was younger (you know, the old stereotypes about screaming and Satan worship), but then I found out that symphonic metal was a thing and realized how mistaken I was. XD;
4) Favorite series of books?
Gonna have to go with Harry Potter here, given how much more involved in that fandom I was than I've been for any other book series. I still have a ton of nostalgia for it, too.
5) Most disappointing thing you’ve read/saw/played? Not hated, but disappointed.
Usually, I don't bother remembering things that disappoint me, so I'm just going to go with something recent -- Lightning Returns. The direction they took that game was just really weird, and as a whole it's just not at all the sort of thing I find much enjoyment in. =/
("Suddenly, anti-religion!" is a trope I dislike in general, but in that case it was definitely more disappointing than anger-inducing)
6) Giant Robots or Giant Swords?
Giant swords. Especially awesome cosplay replicas.
7) Most money you’ve ever spent on something you didn’t use?
I can't really think of anything I spent money on and then never used. Usually, I use things at least once if I pay for them; it's whether I get full value out of them that's the question.
8) How many nerds could you own in a minute? In case of partial owning, round up.
Define "own." Because the number of nerds I could own in an internet debate varies significantly from the amount of nerds I could own in a swordfight. ;)
9) Worst movie that you absolutely love?
That sentence doesn't compute. If I love a movie, I'm not going to consider it a "worst" anything, regardless of public opinion. =/
If you're going for critical panning, though... Advent Children, maybe?
10) Goldfish or Cheez it?
Goldfish.
11) Least spooky thing that has ever spooked you?
Spooked, as in, startled? Probably something random and harmless (a family member, a leaf, etc.) appearing in the periphery of my vision when I'm not paying attention. I usually don't fear things that aren't fear-inducing, though.
