I have never procrastinated this bad and I'm dying from all the work I have to do tonight
"so, you mean to tell me, you're not fond of the stars? what a bummer," you said as you shake your head dramatically.
"oh my god," i started between chuckles, "i can't believe we're having this conversation again. i've already said that i do, right?," i finished, emphasis on the can't.
you turned your head to me too fast i'm almost afraid you broke your neck in the process. "but we're stargazing right now and may i remind you that you just told me approximately two minutes ago that you just came here with me because i'd throw a tantrum if you don't!," you sputtered. on god, was it so adorable.
"you're not even looking at the stars," you added, and now you're talking in pout. IN FUCKING POUT like you're so cute i could actually cry.
"i am," i said back simply.
"no, you're not."
"yes, i am. i'm staring at the brightest star right now. i'm even seeing my own reflection in them. even in the mornings, i'm stargazing. on the drives to and back from school, in the library during afternoons, inside my room while watching James Bond movies at night," i stated. "it's like i got my own personal star with me. the only difference is that my star watches James Bond movies with me repetitively that at this point we're not really watching anymore but throwing the actors' lines to each other because we've already memorized it."
you just stared at me with those familiar gleam in your eyes. no words. but from then on, you stopped looking at the actual stars spread in the actual skies all throughout the night. and i know that we both know that our eyes communicated.
