Almost Free

I finished the last two exams that are basically just ‘exam exams’ for school, and now have finals and some weird end of the year assessment exam. 

I’m going to try and get some art done this week since it’s finally a break from school but again, it’s a holiday and my family is kind of stupid about holidays and taking me along for the ride all the way to not-cool-town or.. Whatever. 

I failed one of my exams even after studying night and day for like, a week so i’m sort of out of it right now and apologize. 

Art will be worked on as much as I can this week, I want to try and finish SOMETHING that I owe considering how damn long I’m taking. If not for this god damn college course I’d be done with art ages ago, but crap got hard. 

Don’t talk to me about ‘but it’s just math’ unless you’ve been six years without a math course and suddenly being told ‘yeah you did this last semester’ and I haven’t even been in a class room since 2008-ish soooo YUP. (Online classes for a while. Not a good idea.) 

Thank you guys so much for your patience and understanding - I know it’s mostly wish-list art stuff that I owe and 2 commissions but just bear with me until the end and soon I’ll be free to jobhunt and be just as depressed as I was before the stress of school.

Part of the Migration

lmao tumblr finally found most of my art posts and has flagged like, a ton of it - most of it was from WAY before the new terms of service came in, so I’m finding it humorous how someone went through all of my tumblr and effectively tried to flag every single piece of art I’ve done, sfw or otherwise. 

I have no idea if they’ll delete my blog, ban it, whatever, maybe the fact I haven’t posted any NSFW in a while has kept me safe but like - I’m not going to be posting most of my art to here anymore. Not that much of a big boo-hoo, but I can be found at the following instead from now on for my artwork:

Once I have finished my owed commissions, I will no longer be accepting commissions. I just don’t have the right sort of headspace, and it’s not lucrative enough for me for what I need (My laptop is dying, my health is down the tubes, etc etc, general adulting crap) so if I post any more artwork, it will most likely be practice art, personal art, or gift art.

So @blinded-by-flowers​ showed me this pretty awesome game. It’s called V-Katsu and apparently is supposed to mimic Facerig and VR Chat. It’s currently in Japanese, but you can find a user-made english patcher here. I can vouch that it does work, and the readme is super easy to work with.

I sadly don’t have a working webcam to play with this, and I am definitely too poor to be able to actually play with this thing on the VR headset. If I ever can get this to work, you can bet that I will totally be making random rant videos here on my blog about things.

I mean - unpopular opinion; I don’t care that Tumblr’s taking down a bunch of stuff / getting rid of a bunch of stuff? Like, I hardly post here anymore.

Minor Commission Delays

I haven’t forgotten wishlist commissions here folks, don’t you worry about that. I’m just struggling with my inking pens. As you can see from recent uploads they’re.. Bad. They’re just really bad because I kept getting sent CHEAP KNOCK OFFS that bleed and are almost impossible to control properly and I don’t want to give you guys subpar commissions with all the traditional stuff people have asked for. 

@ask-willow and @bristolbeedger and @roobertoober - I have not forgotten your commissions, I’ve just had such a stressful workweek and new problems arised with my laptop on top of it so I’ve been struggling to get things done in time / at proper quality. 

@slapd-daemon and @sweetaskhandi - I also haven’t forgotten your raffle winner prizes. Again, laptop issues have made it difficult to be able to focus on more than one piece a day as of late orz orz

I haven’t forgotten anyone who’s sent me anything though I don’t have time to look everything up at the moment - already my laptop is flickering black screen and trying to shut down for some reason so I’m going to let it rest a bit and struggle to try and figure out what I can do since I can’t afford to replace it. Sigh.

Man it really is disheartening when you offer art trades for adoptables, and they tell you that you’re not good enough. 

‘s kinda why I hate the adoptables community. You offer 15$ art for a 2$ adopt and it’s not enough. /shrug emoji
