True that. Personally, to me, it all started with Heated Rivalry. What a chance, last December I watched the series, then read Game Changer books, made headcanon Erling Haaland will be bestie with Ilya Rozanov, deeply invested in Hockey because of Hudcon Winter Olympics' Torch Bearer, to the point my Instagram algorithm kinda full with hockey stuff since February, found the video of the Only Jalen in NHL, tuned it for Stanley Cup out of curiosity—and found out Jalen Chatfield is playing for Carolina Hurricanes, watching Canes' Stanley Cup final, and then Erling Haaland showed up. It's like a full circle moment to me. I'm so grateful.
Getting back to my routine, my rhythm, after back from my childhood home, is kinda hard. I keep reminding myself it's okay to slow down now, to take things slow, to breathe, because it's safe now. I don't need to perform or wear my mask all the time. I can go ape shit, free my sillies, and take it one breath at a time. I'm not being chased down, I'm alone and safe. I don't have to be super vigilant of my move at least until I'm back to visit again. I can relearn again, i can unlearn again, no one will asking me lots of questions, i can breathe slowly now, I'm safe.
I just remember about 10 years ago i used to dress syari way. Long hijab, long skirt, i even decided i wanna try wearing niqab. I also happened to be 20 yo and desperately looking for a husband lol. I wonder what happened to the many couples who marry way too young because indonesia tanpa pacaran movement. That movement is good but also very alarming.
