This ad was run in the magazine, and the next issue the magazine added a disclaimer saying “Personal ads are for women seeking women ONLY.” M-F TV refers to male to female transsexual which was the language used of this time. While we have no proof that resistance to this ad is what caused this addition, we do speculate. (On Our Backs, 1988)
