My important book - part I
6. Lily loved all of James little quirks.
Soon after they first started dating she noticed that whenever he was in a class he'd tap his pencil twice, tap all of his fingers in order from thumb to pinky on his right hand, then do the same with his left. He continued the pattern until he found something that interested much more. More times then not his distraction ended up being Lily. It was easy for anyone who may have been watching to notice when James was no longer bored by the blush that crept on to Lily's cheeks. She was a very accomplished distraction.
5. In Seventh year, everything changed. Including James.
The War was starting, and priorities were finally recognized. For James, his one and only priority was to finally win Lily over. He knew what he had to do, as she had yelled at him all of the things she despised about him many times before. But really, there was only one thing he had to do. He had to stop showing off for her and show her the James he really was. Needless to say, it worked. Not only did Lily end up liking the real James, but loving him.
4. Lily had a habit of studying by the lake on Weekends.
While everyone inside was partying and celebrating, she always enjoyed the peace and quiet. That was until someone else ended up with a similar habit. James started to come out to study as well, although Lily was convinced that the only thing he was studying was his own reflection in the lake. Weekend after weekend he seemed to start moving closer and closer to her study spot, until finally Lily came out one night and James was sitting in the exact spot she usually sat at. After some bickering, and arm twisting, Lily figured out that James was studying. He was studying her.
5. Hermione and Draco were passionate people.
Hermione always defended the underdog, while Draco always fought for his family. When it came to each other however, they were like oil to water. They didn't seem to mesh, but their arguments always got very heated very quickly. They knew how to press each others buttons, but Draco was always the first to cave. He never wanted to show his emotions, but when arguing with Hermione, he was and open book to her.
4. Hermione was never known for putting much effort into her appearance.
But, the times she did, like the Yule Ball, men were left drooling and women were left with a bitter taste of envy. Draco had witnessed Hermione at the Yule Ball, and that was the first moment when he realized that there was more to her then just a blood type. Sure he was never really that prejudice in comparison to his father, but before the Yule Ball all Hermione had ever been was the muggleborn that always beat him. After the Yule Ball however, he found himself staring at her for much to long.
3. The first time Draco and Hermione touched was when she slapped him.
The slap was electric, but not from how hard she hit him, even though Draco had to admit it was pretty hard. The feeling sent shivers down Hermione's spine, and left Draco completely speechless. If Harry and Ron hadn't been there, Hermione would have just stood there and gaped for a century. Draco on the other hand had to make a quick getaway.
Hermione ended up going to the library to figure it out, Draco just tried to ignore it altogether.
2. Hermione was always inclined to see the best in everyone.
She always thought there was good in Draco, and even though he always called her names, and no matter how hurtful they were, she believed she could change him.
