My problem is not the sacrifice Ben did. Is the inconcistancy? 

So. 

Rey can have all the Jedi helping her out somehow, reaching somehow. Also Luke. And for her to live the only life force/energy whatever need come from the most debilitated person around.

Ok.

Bittersweet and all. Could be easily avoided.

I got it. Ok? I understand that I am in denial and probably becoming what I hated the most. A fanbruh or whatever. Hating on the movie. Oh noes. (I hope I am not) Is not my movie, is not my writing and is not their duty to make a film to please me personally. 

I got that. 

But the thing is. If Ben was just the villain who happened to fall for the heroine and happen to turn at the end and save her life giving his? I would be like, ok this is cool. I can live with it.

What they did was build up this character. Give him all this reedemption path and trials. Tell all this stuff about his past. How horrible is being for him. How abused and manipulated he was. Never free. Never truly having a choice. All the meta. All the myth. All the symbolism. Finally finding a good answer.... and then he is gone? Is no way in hell I can accept it. 

They did a 40s good scene at the end, what would cost do more 20s and give the guy a proper way out or, I don’t know, give a sign that he could actually still be around, have a chance to live. To actually add some real hope to this god damn legacy?

In addition. Poor Rey.

*sigh* Why people hate Nora? She's important, and is part of the life of Yato-sama. He doesn't hate her, because of reasons.

Actually I still have hope that she got this "grim way" because of that crap they call "Father", and she will still be able to be "saved".

Me: Really? I thought it was just me.

My Friend: I don't understand anyway. I thought it was anime or something.
