feel like i'm the only mf who just doesn't really give a damn abt myths tbh oop

not that they aren't important, especially when trying to learn about old societies and whatnot, but I just get so bored and uninterested personally when myth seems to be at the center of everything. not to mention the amount of mythic literalism that's abound. bleh. my interest is definitely more in the religion and spiritual practices themselves. the actual beliefs of real people. i do not have anything against myths and i still think they are useful, but they aren't the practice, and don't (usually) give me a good description of the gods, spirits, ancestors, or their rites. feet in the dirt, and all that, i suppose.

something that makes me foam from the fucking mouth is people who mispronounce names with their whole chest when they are giving educational information, like even if it isn't a real person, like a character, or if it's something like the name of a deity from a religion or other figures or whatever. Not bothering to so much as check whether you are saying something correctly, especially if you are speaking to inform, will always feel like some of the most disrespectful shit to me. Yeah there's nuance, like I can't roll R's to save me life, or someone might have a speech issue, or have a heavy accent or whatever, but that isn't actual mispronunciation, that's just normal. If you are just straight up saying a different fucking word how do you expect me to take any of your information seriously.

Also, man, just fucking, it's basic respect. Learn how to pronounce names. Common decency. Come on now.

Been meditating and connecting to my spiritual path and the teachers that guide me, and it's been nice. The seventh day of a nine nights of prayer. Feeling today the beauty of my transgender manhood, and feeling that love that comes with. The softness and the vulnerability and the strength that the gift of my trans manhood has given me. As well as my sexuality and love of other men. Just my own unique identity, and allowing myself the simple joy of loving myself as the man I am. I've got some nice tea and rice for the trancestors later as well, and I'm hoping my money will come through at least next month, I would like to give a treat to Them as well. Maybe some roses too, if I can afford it.

The family cat, a thirteen year old Russian blue named Puppy (bc she barks at dogs. Only dogs does she do this for, she sounds like a cat all the rest of the time. Except sometimes in the morning and sometimes she sounds like she is saying Hello like a human being so that you will arise. But I digress) loves treats but won't eat anything that has touched the floor or is sat down upon anything so you have to hand feed them to her like a Roman emperor. Sibling discovered that she will also not eat her patte food if you have mushed it with a fork, she will only bother with it if you let it remain in its form with which it slid out of the container. Don't worry tho she has three different kinds of food set out for her to choose from at any given time. If you're eating anything creamy tho (yogurt, certain kinds of soup, etc.) She WILL ignore all of her own food in an attempt at getting yours.

She's the happiest cat I've ever seen and I love her more than anyone I know.

If life has taught me nothing else it's that I should never trust anyone whose whole adult self does not pick up a single vegetable when grocery shopping
