@personettes I feel like it’s become apparent that the network has no idea how to market the show, in any space, including social media ones (lol #IRONY). Like, I get it, Lee Pace is well-known and well-liked, and I’m sure he’s why many people watch the show. I don’t happen to be one of those people, I don’t think I knew who he was before I started watching.

I actually started watching because Bitch magazine wrote in 2014 that Cameron is “in some ways, the star of the show” and made her sound like an even better version of Peggy Olson. (Again, lol on many levels.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if the network and/or the Chrises think they need Joe and to promote the show around him. There seems to be this misconception that you need an interested male audience for anything to be saleable.

@personettes i know! they really never found their rhythm with dorian, that’s for sure. they came close to it in his relationship with angelique (which they ruined), and his relationship with lily (which they ruined). he was totally and completely purposeless.

i’m still in pain :( i don’t think i can ever recover. it was such a let down. vanessa deserved so much better. i was so shocked, and still am, that she only had a few minutes in the finale! she was the whole show, at the end of the day.

@personettes i am SO DISAPPOINTED! it is SUCH a waste. there was so much incredible potential for her character and her arc, and jessica barden has been nothing short of incredible imo. and i truly loved her relationship with lily. :( i’m so sad. i’m so sick of dorian! and tbh that disappoints me as well, because when i read the original novel, i found dorian fascinating at the very least... not to say that reeve’s performance hasn’t been good; i think he’s probably done the best with the material he’s been given. i just don’t think he’s been very well-written in any of the seasons!
