This is most defiantly a shameless plug for my fic: A Wayward Soul Ready for Redemption (link is at the bottom). Anyways!

Though it's advertised as "Reincarnated as Kushina" it's more-so along the lines of cannon Kushina realizes she has memories of a past life in a modern world. Therefore, same person just different life experiences (she gets a little bit of a shortcut that changes more than you think).

There's no future knowledge, Naruto didn't exist in her world, and she has relatively the same personality quirks as cannon- hence why it's not a typical reincarnation story. Unlike in cannon, the story starts at the very beginning so you get to see Kushina's whole process of moving to Konoha and becoming the next jinchūriki.
