CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE. My grandfather let me play with his 35mm camera when I was undoubtedly far too small to be trusted with such a valuable thing, showing me how to focus it, push the shutter...and see things from a totally different angle. This is a man who would take a picture of a flag flying from the bottom up—he would literally lie down on the ground and aim the lens upward to get the view we don’t normally see (or notice if we do). . I thought of him when I took this picture at the museum last weekend. I didn’t lie down on the pavement, but this is pretty close, and you can see things you might not see if you forget to look up rather than straight ahead. . What can you do to see your world differently? Even if it’s just a tiny shift, it’s worth seeing what’s out there in a different way. . . . . . posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/31I3pHT
