When they don't Hire You

Actually, there is a better way to look at rejection. Yes, there is the emotional component, but from their perspective you are nothing more than a can of chicken soup. Which one do you like and why?

Now, how do all the other cans of soup feel that you,ve rejected them? To be honest, they don't feel, and they don't respond. Not because they are unthinking and emotional cans of soup, but because they know ... or more aptly the store owner knows ... Someone else will buy them.

So, like the unchosen can of soup, you have to keep showing up and letting people know what you,re made of. Eventually, someone will buy you. And, since you,re not a can soup, you can always become something else that people are looking for.
