Random Facts: Nicknames

When Xavier moved his family to Thailand, he and Devlin took on new names. These were not new aliases or identities, but simply nicknames to make communicating easier for both of them as the ‘v’ sound present in both of their names does not exist in the Thai language.

For himself, Xavier chose Liam.

Devlin, unable to decide what he wanted to call himself, left the choice to Abel.

After consulting with his grandmother, Abel chose the name Nalin—meaning lotus—for Devlin.

Has Devlin had any slip-ups around human children? Lashed out in anger accidentally with his power?

A couple of times when he was younger but he has a lot of people around him teaching him how to have a confident handle on his magic, so there haven’t been any big ones. And as he’s gotten older he will occasionally mess with someone on purpose but only in little, harmless ways.

As for lashing out, there hasn’t been any. Not on Colleen and Rohan’s watch.
