A Euphorbiaceae shrub on the western slope of the Andes, Jatropha sp. 大戟科麻风树属
Bomarea bracteata, endemic to Peru. (Rio Mayo, northern Peru)
A tiny but amazing Peruvian plant: Gymnosiphon sp. It is a myco-heterotrophic species which means it does not contain chlorophyll so it does not photosynthesize, instead, it gets its food through fungi in the soil.
Plants of Peru: Browningia altissima, is a tree-like cactus that reaches a height of up to 10m. The flower is not very attractive compared to other cacti as it is nocturnal. Lots of Bromeliaceae plants grow on them.
Two small palms from the Andean rainforest ( I don't know what they are).
Some Anthurium species I came across with when in northern Peru.
