Yeehawgust day 29: Pesky Varmints (some personal notes under the cut)

I’m so sorry I missed Yeehawgust this year. I was really looking forward to a month of drawing my cowboys again but this summer took an emotional toll on me that I still haven’t recovered from. I’m torn between wanting to jump back into my art as a distraction and wanting to ease back into it slowly. This particular sketch has been in my head for a while; I think in the next draft of the book I’ll give Prosper a Disney-princess type possum sidekick haha.

I did catch a few glimpses of everyone’s posts throughout the month and I’ve loved seeing them! I hope you’re all doing well and I hope to join in again next year <3

Yeehawgust Day 29: Pesky Varmints

Varmints get a bad rap; the word means a "troublesome wild animal" and is usually thrown at rats, deer or rabbits that eat crops. But the little guys aren't so bad! Go to Quarry Junction south of New Vegas, for example, and you'll see what "troublesome" really is.
