So I had a bee rescuee named Buttercup.
He loved buttercups, handling, Animal Crossinf and Pokemon on the Switch, sunlight, forget-me-nots, tissue beds. Dislikes tubs, cold, rain. Kept him as he could no longer fly so he lived his retirement in our house and out in the sun. First day I was sat with him on my hands for over 2hrs at sun peak. Dirt on hands/nails due to gardening prior.
I have him ready for taxidermy. Miss buttercup. He was a good boy. Sadly, I did not find out he was male due to the lack of pollen sacs.
the bee is so soft i'm going to cry, have a nice day
don’t cry! beeeeee… happy!
Okay so I went outside for band practice the other day (side note: I'm the drum major) and I get out there and I climb up on my podium and I see a tiny little bee just laying there and I assume the little guy is dead so I decide to try to keep him (don't ask) and name him Beebob and I poked him with my pen once (very carefully) and he didn't move but then after our second or third run-through of the show I look back down and Beebob was gone and I miss him terribly (my band director said that he was probably cold and then he warmed up but I miss my Beebob)
