Japanese electronics maker Sharp said it is entering the pet-related business with a litter box that uses the Internet of Things to help people monitor the health of their cats. The kitty potty measures the amount and the number of times a cat urinates along with the animal's weight and length of time it spends in the litter box, and then sends the information to a cloud storage system.
